Garrett Updates
Garrett is loving the biker life, he can't get enough.

The Gossip

• Dennis is assigned to Station #3 in Rockville. However, he's detailed out to different stations most of the time so he can enjoy a change of pace.

• With the warm weather, Dennis has been riding his motorcycle alot (and riding his bike). He's planning on another trip to Myrtle Beach in May and a trip to Laconia in June for their bike weeks.

• Nancy is traveling to New Orleans for work. She went for a week in January and is scheduled to go down again in February and in March. She's reviewing test results for implementation of the Uniformed Services into the TSP. Although she misses her family, it's nice break. Plus the food is great!

• Nancy started teaching an ESL (English as a Second Language) class at her church in February. It's somethings she's thought of doing for a long time and when some other teachers dropped out, Nancy took the opportunity. She really is enjoying it much more thatn she thought she would.

• Nancy has lost over 17 lbs so far! Still doing Jazzercise and working out during lunch. Of course went biking the other day for the first time in years and Nancy was always the last one.

• If you see something that does not work or if a link does not go where it should let us know. Most, if not all, of the pictures are JPG files instead of TIF files. Although the quality isn't as great, it makes for faster loading and more viewing pleasure.

Interesting Facts

Dennis and Nancy met November 13, 1993, at a Jaycee Board meeting in Richmond, Virginia. At the time Nancy was living in Arlington, Virginia and Dennis in Oakton, New Jersey. One year later they were engaged!

Dennis and Nancy were married March 8, 1997. See the wedding section to view pictures of the event. It also has pictures of their skiing honeymoon in Banff, Canada. They have a son, Garrett, born in 1999.

Dennis is a graduate of Old Dominion University (1998) in Norfolk, VA with a Bachelors of Science in Health Science Management. He also holds an AAS in Emergency Medical Technology from Northern VA Community College.

Nancy is a graduate of Penn State University (1987) with a Bachelors of Arts in Economics & Advertising. She's also really smart.

Garrett is a graduate of Fairfax hospital NICU (1999) with a clean bill of health. He was born August 1, 1999. Check him out in Garrett's page.

Dennis, a former U.S. Navy Corpsman, is now a Firefighter/ Paramedic in Montgomery Co. MD at Station 3 in Rockville. He's an avid Motorcycle rider and like going on long rides. As offten as he can he rides (yes the bike) to Sturgis, SD Daytona, FL and Laconia, NH for their bike weeks. See the motorcycle page for pictures.

Nancy works for the Federal Government as a Loan Specialist for the government's retirement plan. She is a volunteer usher for the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C.

We have one dog, Andie, a 15 year old lab/shephard/something else mix. She's great with kids.
